a) Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda M.E. & High school:
The primary School was started in May 1933. During Swami Vivekanandajis birth centenary year 1963, it became popular to the people of Bhubaneswar as Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda M.E School. In the year 2005, the year of Sri Ma Sarada Devis 150th Birth anniversary it was upgraded into High School. At present, there are 550 students, studying from Std. 1st to 10th. Apart from their regular classes , they are given moral and spiritual lessons also.
b) Brahmananda Chhatrabas:
A students Home for tribal students has been functioning in the Mission Campus since the year 1994. Sixty students of 5th to 10th standard have been accommodated there.
They are from interior districts of Odisha.
c) Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Library:
The library was started in the year 1956 but it became popular as Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Library since 1963.The present building of the Library was inaugurated by Srimat Swami Gambhiranandaji Maharaj in the year 1968. The well furnished Library has about 27,000 books on various subjects. We subscribe 61 journals every month and 15 newspapers daily. Also, there have been spacious reading rooms where average attendance of readers is 60-70 daily.
Government Aided Programmes
a) We are conducting Value Education classes and personality development camps in Various educational institutes in Cuttack,Khurda, Nayagadh and Puri districts of Odisha covering around 2500 students. Value education Books are provided to 6th 8th std. Students along with study materials. Teachers teach them along with other subjects.
b) Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalapa: (Aided by Govt. Of India)
During Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Swamiji, we conduct a project for 100 nearby poor students. They are given moral education and nutritious food every day except holiday.
The present charitable dispensary had a humble beginning as a charitable Homoepathic dispensary at the time of construction of Math by Revered Swami Brahmanandaji Maharaj. This was being managed by the monastic members at that time. At present, medical services are provided as given below:
a) Allopathic Dispensary:
Allopathic treatment is rendered to the patients daily by expert doctors daily except Sunday and other holidays. On an average 50-60 patients are treated daily.
b) Homoepathic Dispensary
Homoeopathic clinic is opened on every Thursday.
c) Mobile Medical Unit
Mobile Medical van goes to a village weekly once with our medical team.
a) Flood Relief:
The state of Odisha always faces some kind of calamities, especially flood every year. When such kind of situation arises, Ramakrishna Math, Bhubaneswar, monks and volunteers reach to the flood victims as quickly as possible to serve.
b) Winter Relief:
During chilling winter season, we distribute Blankets to the poor and needy.
