Primary School Students during Morning Drill

The primary School was started in May 1933 during Swami Vivekananda birth centenary year 1963. Later it became popular as Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda M.E. School. In the year 2005, on the occasion of Sri Maa Sarada Devi 150th Birth anniversary, it was upgraded to High School. At present, there are 550 students, studying from 1st std to 10th std. Apart from their regular classes, students are given moral and spiritual lessons also.

A students Home for tribal students has been functioning in the Mission Campus since the year 1994. Sixty students of 5th to 10th standard have been accommodated there. They are from interior districts of Odisha.
